Rhodiola does have a unique, bitter taste. Bitterness has an important place in our diet, one that is complemented well with creamy or sweet things if the flavor does not appeal to you. Start with 1/4 tsp along with some nut milk, honey and ghee, or add to other bitter things like coffee or hot chocolate.

Salidroside, also known as rhodioloside, is a glucoside form of tyrosol.
