Services

Step 1: Foundational Interview (1-1.5 Hours)

The first visit includes:

  • Review Initial Intake paperwork - Family History, Health History, Goals, Sleep, Stress, Movement, etc.

  • Food & Mood Journal review - 4=5 days' worth of your meals &/or snacks with a mood tracker

  • Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) using Nutri-Q to pinpoint what area(s) within the body need the most support. This questionnaire will take about 20-25 minutes to complete in one sitting so be sure to set some time aside to complete thoroughly. This will then produce a multitude of information to review and analyze for step 2.

2. Step 2: Initial Recommendations (1-1.5 Hours)

The second visit includes:

  • Review bio-individual goals for best short- and long-term growth with the use of the Nutri-Q tool analysis.

  • Look over imbalances that may be found & personalize recommendations to your health.

  • Utilize the food & mood journal to follow up on symptoms that may be ailing the body.

  • Various integrative nutritional methods will be addressed for supporting the mind & body.

  • Labs or testing will be reviewed and applied to your personalized wellness plan.

Step 3: Follow up Sessions between 2-4 weeks (30 Minutes-1 Hour)

The third visit includes:

  • Follow up appointment to review and ask any questions you may have about your growth.

  • Additionally, we will go over any signs or symptoms that may arise during your journey.

  • This will require an updated NAQ questionnaire, Food & Mood Journal, & possible labs.

Step 1: Pre-Assessment Evaluation-(25 min)

  • The Sugar Use General Assessment Recording (SUGAR®️) tool is used to show addiction patterns to certain substances in food. This will determine how we proceed using methods for nutritional therapy or for food addiction. Someone may have harmful use or emotional eating tendencies, whereas food addiction may need further action. This will be when the SUGAR® tool is used. The Pre-Assessment Evaluation will allow me to get a better picture of your health and food habit history.

Step 2: SUGAR® Interview-(1.5-2 Hours)

  • The SUGAR®️ tool is used in relevance to the diagnostic criteria established in the DSM-5 and the ICD-10. During the interview we will have 67 questions in which will help to narrow down where you need the most help. I will also be able to show you your weight curve and historical life events. This step allows us to link together the history of behaviors and nutritional depletions from the food addiction.

Step 3: Recovery Follow Up-(30 min)

  • The follow up is to provide you with a visual tool and recommendation based off of the criteria given throughout the SUGAR® Interview. Upon discovery of pathological use or harmful use, the client will proceed with their next steps into recovery or nutritional therapy.

*Please note that each client must have a support person; Doctor, mental health professional, peer support specialist, family and/or friend.
